The second opus by this Austrian quartet this times sees a more raw , brutal & angry approach to their music . This is in short , raw as hell & brutal as fuck . Unlike your typical Austrian band such as Abigor or Golden Dawn , Belphegor is like the Dark Funeral or Marduk of the Austrian scene . Their main aim is to create hell on earth and this can be reflected in their music . 'Blutsabbath' has taken on a very dark & bleak outlook as compared to 'The Last Supper' . I have heard through various sources that this album cover (shown on the right) is banned worldwide and Last Episode has already withdrawn all issued copies from the underground market and will be reissuing this album under a different cover . Collectors take note ! Anyway , 'The Last Supper' will also be reissused under Last Episode and it will contain several bonus tracks taken from the Belphegor demo . Expect a brand new album by these hellish guys sometime later this year . As a whole , Blutsabbath is an all out sonic assault on the ears and should be played as loud as possible and as late in the night to awake even the sleepiest of demons in the night !
