MORTEM - The Devil Speaks in Tongues

This is the second album of South American band 'Mortem' and the emphasis of their music is based on blood , splatter & gore movies which can be seen especially in their lyrics & also their song titles . Since this is also the first album which I have of the band , I have absolutely no idea what their debut sounded like , but 't.d.s.i.t.' most certainly reminds me of the early black/death metal bands such as Inverted , Amon and Blasphemy as well . The riffings are laced with black emotions while vocals are more towards the low guttural death side . The play time of this album hovers around 50 minutes and it contains a total of 12 tracks .

My advice for those who reminisces of early bands like those mentioned above , please do yourself a favour & check this out ... you may end up enjoying it as much as I did !
